What We Do

Grain Fed Cattle
Our Grain Fed Cattle receive high quality grain that we have delivered in bulk. Their pens are large and clean with plenty of shade and water.

Grass Fed Cattle
Our grass fed beef is 100% grass fed and finished. They live in large pastures with plenty of shade and fresh drinking water.

Our Cattle
We primarily raise Angus cattle with an occasional Angus cross breed.

Our Valley
Leona Valley is a small rural community about one hour north of Los Angeles in the foothills above the Antelope Valley. It is a beautiful town primarily known for its U Pick cherry orchards.

The Squeeze
The Squeeze/Chute is a device used to tag, vaccinate, and doctor cattle. It holds them in one place allowing us to work on each individual cow.

Our Grass and Pastures
This is one of our pastures right after it has been planted. In the fall we plant 3 way hay and allow the winter rains to irrigate for us. The hay is generally ready in late spring and can be baled or grazed.

Free Range
Our grass fed cattle are fed in open pastures with plenty of space to roam freely and plenty of grass to be fat and happy.

Gathering
One of our favorite things to do is to gather and sort cattle. This is when we go out on Horseback and Four Wheelers to gather the heard. Sometimes its just to move them from one pasture to another. Other times its to move them to sorting pens to divide them up.

Our Logo
The Circle B is our brand that we put on all of our cattle. It came from our family's ranch that was started in the Antelope Valley in the 30's. The B is a reference to our grandfather, Blas Gorrindo Jr. He was the son of Spanish Immigrants from the Basque region of Spain. They farmed alfalfa and raised cattle out in what is now called Antelope Acres.

Ethical treatment
One of the benefits of purchasing from us is we do not participate in the factory farming model. Our cattle are all treated humanely providing for a low stress environment. It is one of the biggest benefits of farm to table.
